As of 1st of March 2024, many State museums will charge in Euros, or its equivalent in Turkish Liras.

You can buy the "Museum Pass" for foreigners which is valid for 5 days in various museums of Istanbul.

Museums open 7 days

Many State museums in Istanbul operate 7 days a week, except Topkapi Palace.

Istanbul mini package

Day 1: ARRIVE Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul for a 3-night stay. Meet your escort and transfer to your hotel. Dinner at guests' expense.

Day 2: Istanbul

After breakfast, start your visits of city Highlights: The Hagia Sophia, built in the 6th century AD by Byzantine emperor Justinian and became the largest church in the world for many centuries until its conversion into a mosque by the Ottoman Sultan, where you can see gold leafed mosaics. The Byzantine Hippodrome where horses and chariots raced once upon a time. The Blue Mosque, famous for its 17th century tiles and interior decorations, the most important mosque of the city. The Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman Sultans for about 400 years. And finally the Grand Bazaar for a leisure afternoon with more than 4,000 shops. Return back to your hotel. Dinner at guests' expense. (B-L)

Day 3: Istanbul

Pick-up from your hotel for another great day in Istanbul. Have some time to explore Spice Market, known as Egyptian Bazaar, famous for its colorful spices. Than take a leisure ferry boat for a Bosphorus cruise (about 1,5 hrs) enjoying the weather and the sea, watching old wooden villas and Ottoman palaces on both shores of the city. After lunch in a fish restaurant along the water, take the suspension bridge and set your foot on the Asian continent. Here, you'll visit Beylerbeyi palace which was the summer residence of the last Ottoman sultans. Return back to the European continent to visit the mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent from 16th century, largest mosque of the city. Finally, head back to your hotel. Dinner at guests' expense. Day 4: DEPART Istanbul

In the morning, transfer to the airport and depart. End of services. (B)

Notes: Istanbul Mini Package Tour is run every day all year around. Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, Beylerbeyi & Dolmabahce palaces on Mondays, Grand Bazaar on Sundays & Turkish public holidays. On these specific days they'll be substituted with other museums or sites depending on the convenience of the program and schedule. Order of the visits may be changed for the convenience of the tour.
