Restaurants in Istanbul

Istanbul has many good restaurants where you can taste Turkish cuisine and local drinks. Usually the food in Turkey is resonabily cheap, especially in fast food places or small traditional restaurants, and also the street food. But there are fine and expensive restaurants as well, mostly along the Bosphorus and in some good neighborhoods of the city.

In most of the fine restaurants you'll need a reservation, sometimes even days ahead, because these are very popular places. Especially during the summer months, most of the restaurants on the Bosphorus gets busy with local people and tourists.
